    I will admit I bought this Schwinn used and the previous owner wasnt kind to it. Mechanically it is solid, The previous owner tried to enhance the paint and made it quite hidious looking. I found a paint that matched and touched it up. It had been tuned and lubed by a bike shop. The gears work smoothly and very quiet. The brakes will lock and skid the tires. It stops and goes very well. I didnt need this bike but felt i had to rescue it from a bad owner, I use it for commuting to work 5.5 miles a day. I will only ride a Schwinn. Not the prettiest but I rescued it and it is great for my commute.It weighs about the same as my vintage varsity 10 speed. So i am fine with the weight of this bike.

    I wanted a cruiser bike and looked around for a while before I chose this one. It looks great and handles good. I took it on a benefit bike ride and got a lot of complements on how great it looks. I think some of my friends are even thinking about getting the same model or something like it. The only thing that I see could improve is the fender braces. I have it under a shelter but not an enclosed shelter. The braces show signs of rusting and the brake adjustment bolt also. Outside of that this is a great bike.
