I'm about get my Madison out of lay a way next week , and can't wait to set it up and start riding ! I love the Schwinn brand and have been a fan since the early 60's . I threw news papers with my " String Ray " and it was strong fun and fast. I give thanks to the Schwinn Family for every thing you did to help Major Taylor upon his death. Any one purchasing a Bicycle used or new , I reccomend Schwinn Bicycles !

I just got the Madisonafter riding a 1973 Schwinn Continental for 3 years. I'm a sucker for Schwinn and I am really pleased with my new ride. It's light, fast, and looks pretty stylish. I like hoe simple the bike is, just fun pedaling all around town. I love my bike and would recommend it to anyone that is interested in riding single speed/ fixed.

I am the fellow who finished the Ironman World Championships on a Madison in 2009 and 2010. I bought the bike to replace an expensive imported fixed gear track bike - the Madison cost less in it's entirety than the part I needed for the old bike - for training. But I fell in love with the Schwinn from the very first ride. Responsive, not finicky, with clean lines. Well crafted, and durable enough as it turns out to complete the 112 mile bike portion of the Ironman World's - at race pace! Now I train on a Madison exclusively, and use it for errands as well. I LOVE this bike. Dr. William C. "Cory" Foulk (47-time Ironman Finisher, 21-tine Ultraman Finisher) http://www.slowtwitch.com/Interview/Cory_Foulk_hears_a_different_drummer_1971.html
