Comments about schwinn Spirit Bicycle Trailer:

My wife and I got this bike trailer just yesterday and found it very easy to pull almost like it wasn't there, the only issues pulling is going over a curb, or through rutted ground, but other than that, love it. There is a "trunk" area to put a few groceries and bike lock in, as well as the front wheel for the stroller mode. The only down side is that it didn't come with the saftey flag to make it pop out more, but easily fixed by leaving the stroller handle on and popping a couple flashing tail lights onto it. Not sure how it will handle when my kid gets bigger with the nilon bottom, but will be easliy fixed with a piece of plywood and 2x4 bolted into the frame :D

Comments about schwinn Spirit Bicycle Trailer:

Love this bike trailer. I like that it has the small wheel for conversion to a two seater stroller when not in use on my bike. Easy to quickly hook up to my bike. Storage space behind seat is handy. Really easy to use and the kids seem happy and safe in it.

Comments about schwinn Spirit Bicycle Trailer:

I don't own a car, use trailer for hauling my 4 yr old son and errands/shopping. This is my 2nd trailer of the same model, except the first was steel. Consistently handles well with more weight than recommended, fabric held up well even in Arizona sun after 3 yrs. 1st trailer failed at hinge for attachment arm, the arm broke not the trailer frame. That trailer is still in use as a flatbed with a re-worked trailing arm. Point being, I expect the aluminum trailer to fail there as well. The metal is only slightly thicker than the steel arm. However, I was pretty hard on the trailer, weight-wise. Aluminum model is easy to tow, barely noticeable when empty. It will catch some wind though if the canopy is open. My son seems to find it very comfortable, sleeping for miles, up and down sidewalk ramps. Stock tires are on the cheap side. Even with tire liners and thick tubes, goatheads got right through. I added the 2 bars for the canopy (from a camp chair) and the LEDs.
