Mark V

I grew up on American made Schwinn bikes from 1965 on until today. Amazing that American made Schwinn bikes are not only rideable after 30, 40, 50 years, they outperform the Asian made Schwinn bikes of today!!! Why can't an American institution like the Schwinn company produce the same, EXACT, best bikes in the world that they are famous for? My American made Schwinn cruisers are hand made American works of art that can be passed on to my grand kids years into the future.

I purchased this crusier do to the fact of its stylish design and cozy cup holder, being this is my first cruiser i have purchased from schwinn i must say i am very pleased with my purchase. it runs very smooth and the saddle is very comfortable. i must say i have allready bike 100 miles in the weeks i have owned it. very pleased and satisfied -Schwinn cruiser owner

Just bought a mark 5 as an impulse buy and absolutely love it styling is a close match to my vintage Indian motorcycle and its a joy to ride I thought the cup holder was gimmicky at first but is actually quite useful and gives reason to the flare in the frame shape all in all its excellent

I suppose the only think I can feel good about when it comes to Schwinn's cruiser range is that Ignatz Schwinn is dead and can't see the disgrace you have inflicted upon his once proud Company. Your current cruiser range is an abomination of bad design and quality fade. You will cease to exist if you continue like this.

Well done Schwinn - in the last 4 years you have gradually reduced your lovely cruiser range to a few really disgusting bikes. I've had a good close look at all your cruisers in the shops and they are not only the butt of jokes by serious cyclists but the quality of the bikes themselves had taken a huge nose dive. Thanks probably to your new owner, Dorel, you have alienated me from buying any of your cruisers when before I was buying maybe 10 a year for customising. I can't buy any now because they are all so utterly revolting in both design and finish. How I loathe to see a once great product ruined by a few idiots who know two fifths of nothing about bicycles!

This bike is spoilt by the absolutely gimmicky beverage holder, not to merntion the stiff as a poker front forks. Your cruiser range no longer has any decent bikes like you used to have up until 2 years ago. How could you show so little respect for a brand name like Schwinn. Discontinuing the classic Californian beach cruiser frame that had served you well for many decades was an idiotic decision. Replacing it with bikes like the Mark V just adds insult to injury.

I have had several schwinn in Galveston . Purchased from West End Cycle in Galveston. Best bicycle in the world. I am going to purchase one for my Christmas gift to my self if at all possible.
