BMX Dirt Superstar TJ Lavin to Participate in Hollywood Charity Event

Schwinn athlete and Dirt Jump BMX star TJ Lavin will be among the celebrities attending the �Bogart Backstage� benefit on Saturday, Oct. 16. The Bogart Pediatric Cancer Research Progam is dedicated to funding cutting edge, bench-to-bedside research at Childrens� Hospital Los Angeles.

�I�m excited to participate in the Bogart Backstage benefit,� said Lavin. �Cancer research is very important to me and being a part of this means a lot. It really hits home as my father has lung cancer. Everyday he stays alive is a day closer to a cure.�

Other celebrities in attendance include cast members from television shows: The Quintuplets; Reba; Bernie Mac; Malcolm in the Middle; 7th Heaven; Smallville; Club House; Jack and Bobby; What I Like About You; Nickelodeon; and My Wife and Kids.

TJ and the actors will be signing autographs for kids, and other activities include rock climbing; laser tag; video games; velcro walls; beauty makeovers; donut decorating and music from DJ Adam of Disney Radio.
