We got this bike in either 2005 or 2006 when our oldest boy was roughly 18 months old. It was a Christmas present from the grandparents. He loved it instantly! It was easy enough to push him around with the handle in the back of the seat, and he could easily push himself around with his own two feet. The bell was well-loved and the tassels added a fun, funky, motorcycle look to the whole thing. The wooden step behind and the super cool look of the trike was a huge hit with everyone who saw it. We got loads of compliments, and about 9 years later, we still get loads of compliments! The 2 other brothers have learned to peddle on this bike, and always love it. The bell broke during the middler's stage, but by that time we had moved several times and it was already 6 years old. I call that a good run for a bike bell predominantly used by toddlers and preschoolers. My youngest is going on 3 next month and his bike of choice is always the red Schwinn trike. He learned to peddle at 2 years old and zooms past the older kids. I am working on finding a new bell, he has never experienced the fun of ringing the bell as he flies down the driveway.

Bought these bikes for my grand kids birthday party. Ages 2 and 3. Had all the kids, even rented a fire truck, brought out these bikes, as their great presents, and, the air would not hold in the tires, no caps for the tires included. Used a foot pump, tires still flat. Party fell flat, they could not ride. My grand kids are not overweight. Took them back Exchanged them, requesting a box for each.. No tire caps. Air won't hold. My grand kids love these bikes, that's why I'm going through this, but if I had known, no I would not have got these.

The pedal design is very poorly constructed. it broke with a 3 year old using it in less than a day. other than that I would have given the bike a 5 star - without petals - should be 0 star. very disappointed.

              Comments about Roadster Trike Unisex:

We bought this tricycle for my daughter a few years ago. It still looks brand-new and she rode it quite a bit. It was easy for her to learn how to ride a trike on this one because it doesn't fall over. (Unless you are really trying to make it fall over.) My 2nd child is now riding it and he absolutely loves it as well. It's a great first tricycle. I'm so glad Santa bought it for us. My ONLY issue is that the pedal (the black rubber pedal) has fallen off. I have been struggling to find a new one.... any hints? It still works without it, but it would be nice to have it back on. I would for sure recommend this bike to anyone who has a toddler.

This is a beautiful bike, classic, with inflatable tires, extremely quiet. Only thing we wish for is an option to add a handle behind the bike to push your little one.
